INSTRUCTIONS

Assignment 2: Concept Development

Expanding upon Task 1, we should delve into a variety of design concepts and evaluate their capability to foster designs that are more focused on the user and enhance overall effectiveness.

Deliverables:

1. Conceptualizing Spatial Layouts
2. Designing Signage
3. Developing Digital Touchpoints

WEEK 6 - 08/11/23

To be honest, we were only given a week to work on Assignment 2, which was a continuation of Assignment 1. In Assignment 2, our tasks included conceptualizing spatial layouts, designing signage, and developing digital touchpoints. However, there was some confusion regarding what exactly was meant by 'signage' and 'digital touchpoints'. Initially, we thought these elements might be related to the Application Design 1 module, especially since Assignment 2 would form the basis for our final assignment, which is a culmination of three different modules.

We successfully negotiated with Mr. Max for an extension on our project deadline until Friday. This arrangement meant that we could use Wednesday's class to gain a clearer understanding of the assignment requirements.

WEEK 7 - 10/11/23

On the 10th of November, both our first and second assignments were scheduled for presentation. I was among the last few to present, and to be honest, staying alert and focused for such an extended period was a challenge for me.

Despite the challenge of maintaining focus, I managed to present my work and was proud of the outcome. Mr. Max expressed his appreciation for my third-floor plan, which comprised five floors. His positive feedback was encouraging, but I still have some reservations about whether I can effectively incorporate and execute this complex plan in my final assignment.
